I would like to share with you my experience with Emerald Heating & Cooling. In the spring of 2000 Marty installed a new furnace and central air in my home. The job was done on time, as promised, the old furnace and debris was removed from the premises. Marty was very knowledgeable about the new equipment and explained everything to me. He told me what I needed to know about the number of BTU’s for my size house, adding a new duct so the central air would function properly and how to do normal maintenance on the system. I have been very satisfied with my furnace and central air and have recommended Emerald Heating to my brother, his sister-in-law and three of my friends. All of whom have been very pleased with their new furnaces and/or air conditioning units. Marty or a staff member responds quickly and cheerfully if I have a question or a problem.

This past weekend, we made a call to your company regarding service for our furnace, as it stopped working. It was midnight, and the coldest day of the year, our home was getting very cold, and we have 2 babies that we were concerned about. We had called many other service companies, and we never got a call back, or could not get to us until the following day. We put a call into Emerald Heating and within 30 minutes we got a return call from Marty, your service representative.

One hour later, Marty came to our home. We were very nervous as this is our first home and our first major problem with the home. We were so worried of expense, as we feared the worst, a new furnace.

Marty looked over the furnace and found that we needed an inducer motor and a fan limit control. He was able to get the furnace working and told us that he would be back at our convenience to install the parts. So, now we had heat and our babies would not have to be packed up to go to Grandma’s or a hotel.

The reason for this letter is to express our absolute satisfaction with your company and especially with Marty. He was a total professional in every way. He returned our phone calls on many occasions to answer questions. He was very courteous and truly knows the business of heating and cooling. He actually seemed like he cared that we had heat, and it was important to him that we understood the problem.

Good customer service is very hard to find these days and customers seem to only express their feelings when they are not satisfied. I feel that people also need to know when they have done well, and in this case, Marty has. He is an absolute asset to your company and my husband and I will be happy to refer your business to anyone we know with a furnace or air conditioning problem. Thank you again for a very pleasant service experience.
