Emerald Heating & Cooling was founded in 2000 by Marty and Carrie Sheehan, who combine their strengths to offer great HVAC service to the local area.
The business began after founder Marty Sheehan worked for an HVAC company and trained under a wise technician who told him “be like the duck on the water.” By this, he meant that ducks always appear graceful and in control above the water, while below the surface they are trying hard to stay afloat. It’s a metaphor for working hard while doing a beautiful job, hustling without mistakes, and doing great work without the fuss.
Marty has taken this mindset and applied it to every aspect of our business, from the logo to the mission. This is how we approach every job we do.
